- Chapter One: Discovery - April, 2022

After two years of searching, we found it—the place that stole our breath at first glance. It was raw, and full of potential. We fell in love. We rushed ahead in our minds, imagining it finished, picturing our rooms, even deciding where the TV would go.
Now, looking back from 2025, we can’t help but laugh at those dreamers we were in 2022. If only we knew how far we were from a TV actually standing in the living room!

From that moment on, we were all in. Endless planning began—permits, paperwork, budgets, the right team... it never truly stopped.

And yes, we’ve asked ourselves more than once: would we still have done it if we had known how complex, long, and exhausting this journey would be? The answer is yes. Always yes.

Summer 2023. After months of struggle, we finally broke through the wall of bureaucracy. The villa received its long-awaited permission to rise again—and on September 7th, it officially became ours.
We were glowing with hope, certain we’d reached the light at the end of the tunnel. Finally, we thought, the hard part is over. Now we can build, full speed ahead.
But life, in all its beauty and mischief, had other plans. 

The real journey was only just beginning.

The pool needed geological studies, the new cone roof and sphere demanded structural calculations, even the windows—more windows than walls—required their own project. Every step, another layer of planning. Another wait. Another lesson in patience. 

Six more months slipped by… and Dragon Land grew only on paper, not a single inch in reality.
We started to lose hope.
